Follow the dramatic journey of the Great Wildebeest Migration as it unfolds across the Central and Northern Serengeti, where predators closely stalk vast herds in search of opportunity. This safari also offers a visit to Tarangire National Park for elephants and baobabs, and ends with an unforgettable descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 1 Activities

:Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Start your journey with a scenic drive to Tarangire, famous for its elephant herds, ancient baobabs, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a game drive followed by a drive to Karatu, a peaceful town on the edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Overnight in Karatu.

Day2 Activities

:Karatu – Central Serengeti

Enter the Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Afternoon game drive across the Seronera region, home to big cats, giraffes, and countless plains game.

Day 3 Activities

:Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti

Drive through scenic plains toward the Northern Serengeti, where the Mara River awaits. En route, enjoy wildlife sightings of elephants, topis, and large carnivores.

Overnight in Northern Serengeti.

Day 4 Activities

:Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti

Spend the morning tracking the migration herds and possibly witnessing a river crossing. Afterward, return to Central Serengeti for more game viewing in predator-rich territory.

Morning safari followed by a drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional cultural visit to a Maasai village. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim by evening.

Overnight at Ngorongoro Lodge/Camp.

Day 5 Activities

:Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. With a high chance of spotting the Big Five in a single day, this scenic caldera offers an unforgettable safari experience.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final scenic drive back to Arusha, passing through the beautiful highlands and rural landscapes of northern Tanzania. Upon arrival in Arusha, you'll have time to relax, enjoy lunch, or shop for souvenirs before being transferred to the airport for your international departure. A seamless end to your unforgettable safari adventure.
